The series resonance frequency of a crystal will change slowly over time. This is known as aging. Generally a frequency change of a few parts per million occurs over a period of years. The majority of the change usually occurs over the first year or two. Aging is often attributed to a crystal mass change versus time. The aging rate accelerates at higher temperatures and at higher oscillation amplitudes.
晶振的串聯(lián)諧振頻率會(huì)隨著時(shí)間慢慢變化,這就是所說的衰老。一般來說,一個(gè)百萬分之幾(ppm)的頻率變化發(fā)生在一段時(shí)間內(nèi)。老化通常歸因于晶體質(zhì)量隨時(shí)間的變化。如果晶振處于長時(shí)間較高溫度及較高振蕩幅度的工作狀態(tài),其老化速率就會(huì)加快。
晶振年老化率ppm如何計(jì)算?
晶振的年老化率是指晶振在以年為時(shí)間單位的老化程度,用PPM表示(百萬分之一),比如晶振標(biāo)稱年老化率在±5ppm,指的就是一年內(nèi)晶振頻率的偏移在±5ppm以內(nèi)。比如:晶諾威科技生產(chǎn)的石英晶體諧振器與石英晶體振蕩器的年老化率可以控制在最大±3ppm/年,而隨后每年老化率為±1ppm。
基于晶振的工作環(huán)境的差異,晶振的老化頻率偏移方向一般也不一樣。比如,標(biāo)稱頻率為±10ppm的晶振,若年老化率為±3ppm/年(第一年),就是說,第二年的頻率范圍一般為“-7ppm~+13ppm”。
老化率越低就說明晶振的穩(wěn)定性越高。相對(duì)來說,晶振第一年使用的時(shí)候老化率會(huì)比較高,以后逐步趨于穩(wěn)定。
